More about Scotty Taylor Fall

Phaseolus vulgaris

Anticipated availability in Fall 2024

A one-of-a-kind variety of fall bean shared with us by Scotty Taylor of Evarts, Kentucky.  Scotty found this unique, red-podded bean growing among his fall beans, the result of an apparent outcross by another unknown variety.  We grew the seeds Scotty sent in 2022 and were amazed by the beauty and excellent eating quality of this bean.  We will be increasing our stocks in 2024 and selecting for uniformity, with seed hopefully made available to the public in the fall. 90 days to harvest.  Each packet contains a minimum of 25 seeds.
