The Kuroda carrot is an improved Chantenay-type carrot developed in Japan for Asian markets.  Kuroda is a consistent and reliable producer of 7 to 9-inch-long, tapered carrots.  Kuroda carrots perform well in a variety of soils and the sweet, orange, heirloom carrots are great for fresh eating, cooking, and roasting.  Matures approximately 85 days after sowing.  Each packet contains a minimum of 150 seeds.
