More about Golden California Wonder

Capsicum annuum

Golden California Wonder is a yellow selection of the ever-popular California Wonder that has itself maintained a large following of gardeners since at least the 1920's.  Lush plants produce nice yields of large, blocky peppers averaging 4 inches wide by 5 inches tall.  Golden California Wonder plants don't set huge quantities of peppers at any one time but instead seem to have a ripe pepper or two ready for harvest at all times during the season. The crisp, golden peppers have a sweet, mild flavor and are perfect for fresh eating, stuffing, and canning.  One of the best heirloom golden bell peppers available.  Harvests begin 70 days after transplanting.  Each packet contains a minimum of 25 seeds.
