Oxhart carrots

This will be my first time planting this variety of carrot. The seeds were small so i could not gage the size of carrots that I may be getting. Like all carrots the tip is to really till the soil and thin the seedlings. Wish me luck, I have high hopes the carrots will be great.

Hi Dorothy, thanks for your review! One more tip we've had really good luck with is to sow radishes directly in the carrot row. Pick a fast-maturing variety and they'll be ready to harvest about the time the carrot seeds germinate. Their presence keeps the soil soft and moist while the carrot seeds are making their way up. Anyway, best of luck to you! I hope you get an abundant harvest of carrots.
