Solanum lycopersicum

The Amish Paste Tomato is an heirloom variety that was discovered in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, but is thought to have originated in Wisconsin around 1870.  Amish Paste's indeterminate plants produce good yields of 8- to 12-ounce, oblong or slightly tapered (fruit shape varies slightly from plant to plant), plum-type tomatoes with brilliant, red skins. Great company-fast service.

I was happy to find one place that had both paste tomatoes that I was looking for. I expect to buy more seeds next “seeding” season.

Awesome Product. The seeds have sprouted in only a few days with a grow light and a seedling heating pad. Can’t wait to try the finished product 🍅

These are growing very well and looking forward to seeing how they produce and the sauce they make.
