More about Lemon Queen

Helianthus annuus

Lemon Queen is an open-pollinated variety of sunflower that produces 4 to 6-inch heads with lovely, lemon-yellow petals and brown centers.  Sturdy, multi-branched stems grow up to 9-feet-tall, producing an abundance of beautiful flowers over a period of several weeks.  One of our favorites for arrangements, these cheerful sunflowers brighten up any table setting and have an excellent vase life, particularly if harvested just before the flowers begin to open.  Blooms mid-summer.  Each packet contains a minimum of 50 seeds.
