More about Fish

Capsicum annuum

One of the most unique peppers we've grown, Fish is an heirloom variety dating back to the 1870's.  While it has somewhat of an elusive history, Fish is believed to be of Caribbean origin and has long been a popular variety for use in Creole cooking.  Plants produce beautiful, variegated leaves and 2-inch-long peppers that ripen from green to yellow to red.  The flavorful peppers have a medium heat level that makes them useful in a variety of dishes. Excellent variety all around. Harvests begin approximately 80 days after transplant.  Each packet contains a minimum of 25 seeds.
