More about Early Fortune

Cucumis sativus

The Early Fortune Cucumber is a selection of the now extinct heirloom, "Davis Perfect," first discovered by George Starr of Royal Oak Michigan in 1906.  Introduced to the public around 1910 by the Jerome B. Rice Seed Company and described at the time as “the earliest and best white spine cucumber ever offered,” Early Fortune produces very heavy yields of 8-inch-long cucumbers with a fresh, crisp flavor.  One of our most reliable, highest yielding cucumber varieties.  Harvests begin approximately 55 days after sowing.  Each packet contains a minimum of 25 seeds.

This Cucumber seeds germinated very well (every seed).

This Cucumber seeds germinated very well (every seed) and we have taken about 15lbs of cucumbers off each plant every other day. We have made 60 jars of pickles and sold the rest.
Thanks you Thresh seed Co.

Thanks for your review, James. We're glad the plants are yielding well for you-- sounds like you've been busy!
